The American Academy of CME, Inc. founded in 2001, is a not-for-profit medical education organization and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC) to provide continuing professional education to physicians, pharmacists, and nurses. The Academy partners with non-accredited medical education and communication companies as joint sponsor.
