How do I login to the web site?
First go to Baylor College of Dentistry CE's home page and go to the sign in box on the left side of the page. Enter the username and password you selected when you registered and then click on Sign In.
Not yet registered? Then click on the Register Now button above the sign in screen to register your information.
Is there a fee for registering on the web site?
No, there is no fee for registering your information and creating a record on Baylor College of Dentistry CE. The only fees you'll encounter are fees for purchasing lectures & labs or online programs for CE credit.
Why does is there a message that says, "Invalid Login" when I try to login with my username and password?
"Invalid Login" means that the username or password you're typing in is incorrect. For assistance with your username or changing your password, please e-mail Customer Service at carcoria@bcd.tamhsc.edu.
What is the difference between lectures & labs and online programs?
Lectures & labs are live seminars that take place at Baylor College of Dentistry. Participants must attend the seminar at Baylor College in order to complete their CE credit hours and receive a CE letter (certificate). More information on the location, speaker and seminar start times are located in the HTML link (under View Formats) in the User History page.
Online programs are CE courses offered online for completion. Participants must read over the course material (found in View Formats) and complete the online examination. Upon completion of the online examination, participants may print out their certificates from their User History pages.
How do I purchase lectures & labs and/or online programs?
First, sign in to Baylor College of Dentistry CE (If you do not have a Username and Password, click on the Register Now button to register).
Next:
- Click on Lectures & Labs or Online Programs on the top navigation.
- Click on Select next to the program you want to purchase. Click on Select next to any other programs you want to purchase.
- When you are done selecting programs and are ready to pay, click on Submit List underneath the list of selected programs at the top of the page.
- You will then be taken to the Certification Information page to verify and/or edit (if applicable) your personal information. You can also enter a promotion code if you have received one.
- When finished, click on Continue at the bottom.
- At the Purchase Verification page, enter your payment information and then Submit Purchase.
What types of payment can I use to purchase lectures & labs and/or online programs?
Credit or debit cards are the accepted payment when ordering online. Baylor College of Dentistry CE accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Payments by check or money order are accepted when ordering through the mail. Please e-mail Customer Service at carcoria@bcd.tamhsc.edu for assistance or questions.
Why am I receiving an error message in red when entering my credit card information?
First, be sure that you have selected the right type of credit card and have entered the correct credit card number as one long number without any spaces or dashes in between the groups of numbers.
Correct way to enter a credit card number: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Second, make sure the credit card expiration date is correct.
If you are still having problems after checking this information, you may have to call the credit card company or bank to see if there is a problem with your account.
Where can I find my purchased lectures & labs and/or online programs?
First, sign in to Baylor College of Dentistry CE with your username and password. Once you are signed in, you will be taken directly to User History where any purchased lectures & labs and/or online programs will be listed.
Where can I find my online program course material?
First, sign in to Baylor College of Dentistry CE with your username and password. Once you are signed in, you will be taken directly to User History where any purchased lectures & labs and/or online programs will be listed.
Live programs will not have online course material. An HTML page with the program description, location and course objectives is provided online.
Course material for online programs is listed under Viewing Formats. Online programs offer the course material in HTML and PDF formats.
Where can I find my online program exams to complete?
First, sign in to Baylor College of Dentistry CE with your username and password. Once you are signed in, you will be taken directly to User History where purchased online courses will be listed.
To view the online exams, click on Take Exam next to the course title. A window will come up with the online examination. Be sure to answer each question and then click Continue at the bottom of the page when you are done.
Please note that you cannot keep the exam window open for an hour or more. If the exam window is open for an hour or more, you will be asked to sign back in and your answers will not be saved. To prevent this from occurring, first review the course material under Viewing Formats.
