Baylor College of Dentistry, Office of Continuing Education
Is committed to providing the dental practitioner the highest quality live CE courses and self-study programs in order for you to meet dental board statutory mandates and AGD status requirements. We are known for our outstanding food service, provided by our gourmet caterer, and our fabulous facility, which includes a state-of-the-art laboratory and large, comfortable lecture rooms.

Registration Information, Certification & Cancellation policy:

Accreditation - Texas A&M Health Science Center, Baylor College of Dentistry is designated as a recognized provider by the Continuing Education Recognition Program (CERP) conducted under the auspices of the ADA and by the AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and membership maintenance credit.

Documentation -   The Office of Continuing Education utilizes consistent and complete data regarding registrations and record-keeping for all courses and course participants. Data is kept in both a digital and hard-copy format, to ensure that participants have access to a letter of credit for up to 7 years. Each participant is required to sign-in at the beginning of a course and sign-out at the termination of the course to receive their CE certificates of credit and their receipts. In the case of a Texas State Board required course or certification, course participant credit information is additionally provided directly to the board for immediate credit.

AGD -   Baylor College of Dentistry is designated as a nationally approved sponsor by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of this sponsor are accepted by AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and membership maintenance credit. The College is also certified by AGD to award Protocol Continuing Education Credits.

ADA  -   Baylor College of Dentistry is designated as a recognized provider by the Continuing Education Recognition Program conducted under the auspices of the American Dental Association.

ACDE -   Baylor College of Dentistry has received accreditation as a continuing education provider by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Dental Education.

CONFIRMATIONS - Will be sent by e-mail to the official address provided to the CE Office.  NO confirmations will be sent for registrations received 3 days prior to the date of a course.

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION - Tuition is refundable if a course is canceled by the Office of CE.  “No Shows” for a course forfeit all tuition. When signing up for programs, your credit card will IMMEDIATELY be processed on the secured payment server.  You can cancel a program at anytime, priorto the commencement of a course, and you will receive a full refund for ONLY your credit card registrations.  All payments by check or cash are deposited into the Texas A&M account and CANNOT be refunded.   We encourage you to register for any program using a valid credit card, because this is the ONLY manner in which you can receive a refund, prior to a course.  If you cancel a program that was paid by check or cash, you may receive credit for a future program.  Confirm notification of a course cancellation by e-mail or fax, prior to course day.  The CE Office cannot be held responsible for a non-refundable airline ticket.

LOCATION - Unless indicated to the contrary, our courses are held at The Baylor College of Dentistry, Richard E. Bradley Continuing Education Center, Sixth Floor, 3302 Gaston Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75246.

PARKING - On Saturdays, you may park in the Baylor reserved parking garage. Enter from Nussbaumer Street. Weekday parking is available at several adjacent parking lots on Hall Street.

APPLICATION - Preregistration for all courses is mandatory as enrollments are processed in the order in which they are received. Full tuition must accompany each application form and we encourage you to charge the fee on your VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card.
